Dear Friends,

Our kindergarten Christmas concert went off without a hitch this morning in the gym of WEJ. Our friends were greeted by thunderous applause after performing three delightful songs complete with actions! props! and French words! We showed sparkling poise and confidence as we sang our favourite “Hello” song for everyone to begin the show.

Practise, practise, practise!

Eagle eyed viewers will notice that we practised the group songs in a different position than the performance. Our skilled performers can do anything! We know the Hat Hat song inside out and backwards.

That’s just the kind of awesome we are.

What a success!

Today we said good-bye to our good friend Miss Taylor. She returns to college to continue her studies. We made a special card and apron for her. Her favourite memory was reading us stories on the carpet.

Today also marked our friend Leland’s last day with us. He is moving to a new house and a new school in Quebec. We had fun learning with Leland. We will always remember him with a smile. Bon voyage!

Dear Friends,

I have a couple of reminders to start the week.

This Friday December 12th, we will be sharing our growing excitement, singing excellence and spirit of peace and friendship with a short festive concert in the gym (10:00-11:00 am).  Family members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to wear a holiday hat, antlers are optional. Please arrive by 9:45 am.

This is also the final week to contribute to our Holiday Hampers project in partnership with the Kanata Food Bank. Please give generously to let our special holiday family know that their community cares.
